PhD Candidate
Penny Papageorgopoulou is a computer scientist and new media scholar currently engaged in doctoral research on posthumanism and the role of embodied devices on the users’ conception of their bodies and identities. She has participated in the production of interactive artworks and installations involving 3D graphics and immersive technologies. She is a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. In 2015, she received her M.A. in Digital Communication Media and Interactive Environments from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. In 2008, she received her BSc. in Telecommunications Science and Technology from the University of Peloponnese.
